Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Bug Identifier app ("the Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

2.1 User Data

The Service does not require user authentication or a formal account system. All data, including subscription details, are stored locally on your device.

2.2 In-App Purchases

The Service offers in-app purchases that include subscription packages for a premium version of the app, which unlocks additional features and enhanced functionality. All transactions are processed through third-party services like RevenueCat, and users are subject to the terms of those services.

3. Subscriptions

3.1 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

The Service offers auto-renewable subscriptions that automatically renew at the end of each subscription period (weekly, monthly, or yearly) unless you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The subscription fee will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

3.2 Cancellation

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not be charged for the next period. There are no refunds for unused portions of a subscription term.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

Users agree that the data set within the app, stored locally on the user's device, is not transmitted or collected by the Service. The Privacy Policy outlines the handling of information and can be found here.

The app does use third-party services that declare their Terms and Conditions.

5. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes related to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed by the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bug Identifier and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
